Embolden Therapy and Wellness
Empowering Your Journey to Wellness
At Embolden Therapy and Wellness, our mission is to walk alongside you with warmth and evidence-based care so you can find healing, cultivate resilience, and grow into a life that feels more grounded, connected, and whole.
Our Story
Embolden Therapy and Wellness was born out of a simple yet powerful belief: no one should have to navigate life’s hardest moments alone. Our founder envisioned a space where individuals, couples, and families could feel seen, heard, and deeply respected as they moved through seasons of change, loss, growth, and becoming.
Over the years, our practice has grown into a collaborative team of clinicians united by a shared commitment to compassionate, evidence-based care. We draw from diverse training and life experiences, yet we are grounded in the same core values: safety, curiosity, courage, and wholehearted connection. Every session is tailored to your story, honoring both the pain you carry and the strengths that have brought you this far.
Today, Embolden Therapy and Wellness serves as a warm, inclusive hub for healing and growth. We are proud to welcome people from all backgrounds, identities, and family structures, and we strive to cultivate a practice that reflects and celebrates the richness of our community. Our hope is that each time you leave our office or log off a session, you feel a little more supported, a little more hopeful, and a little more empowered to live in alignment with your values.
Meet Our Team

Dr. Maya Ellis, PhD, LCP
Maya is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in anxiety, perfectionism, and life transitions. She takes a collaborative, strengths-based approach, helping clients untangle unhelpful patterns and build skills that foster confidence, calm, and self-trust.

Jordan Lee, LCSW
Jordan is a licensed clinical social worker with a focus on trauma, identity, and relational concerns. They integrate trauma-informed care with mindfulness and somatic awareness to support clients in feeling safer in their bodies and more connected in their relationships.

Selena Morales, LPC
Selena is a licensed professional counselor who enjoys working with adults navigating burnout, grief, and major life changes. Her style is warm, direct, and collaborative, blending practical tools with deep reflection to help clients create meaningful shifts.
Our Approach
Our approach is holistic, relational, and deeply client-centered. We honor the whole of who you are — mind, body, emotions, and relationships — and collaborate with you to create a pace and plan that feels grounded and sustainable. Rather than offering one-size-fits-all solutions, we listen closely to your story and tailor our work to your goals, strengths, and lived experience.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
CBT helps you notice and shift unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to distress. Together, we identify the stories you’ve been telling yourself, gently challenge what no longer serves you, and practice new ways of thinking and responding that support your goals.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Mindfulness-based approaches invite you to slow down, reconnect with your body, and cultivate awareness of the present moment with kindness. We integrate grounding practices, breathwork, and gentle reflection to help you move out of autopilot and respond to life with greater choice and compassion.
Trauma-Informed Care
Our trauma-informed lens recognizes how past experiences can shape the way you relate to yourself, others, and the world. We move at your pace, prioritize emotional and physical safety, and center your voice and choice as we work to restore a sense of agency, connection, and hope.
